VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – STIHL Inc., a leading manufacturer of chain saws and outdoor power equipment, has announced the appointment of Mark Scavillo to the position of manager of finance projects. In his new role, Scavillo will be responsible for project controlling, costing analysis and support, and assisting with and coordinating finance specific system implementations.
Scavillo joins STIHL with 10 years of international business experience. In his most recent position, he served as head of process governance for SAP Aktiengesellschaft in Walldorf, Germany where he was responsible for developing and executing a global business process management framework. Prior to that, Scavillo was an investment controller for BMW Manufacturing Corporation in Greer, SC.
A native of Spartanburg, SC, Scavillo holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from The American University and an International Master of Business Administration from The University of South Carolina, Moore School of Business.
