“The Series is really about ordinary people doing
extraordinary things in what really is the original
extreme sport,” said Roger Phelps, promotional
communications manager for STIHL Inc. This was one of the most
competitive seasons in our 24-year history.”
The STIHL® TIMBERSPORTS® Collegiate Championship, as well
as the professional boom run and speed climb finals were
also held in. The Collegiate Championship closely
paralleled the pro series with Adam LaSalle of the

which secures him a place in the 2010 STIHL® TIMBERSPORTS® Professional Series.
Alyse Schroeder of Hayward, Wis. won her first ever
STIHL® TIMBERSPORTS® Series women’s boom run title. She defeated
2005 title-holder Shana Martin with an 11.76 second time. In
the STIHL® TIMBERSPORTS® Series speed climb finals, Derek
Knutson, also of Hayward, Wis. hit the mat in 11.56 seconds,
beating Brian Bartow's time of 11.72 second and Cassidy
