Theres no doubt pros appreciate getting more work done in less time. Thanks to a dedicated “T” blade design, the STIHL HS 81 T and HS 86 T offer cleaner cutting performance for everyday trimming, sculpting and growth control. And, these tough-cutting hedge trimmers are equipped with a large 12.5 ounce fuel tank, which allows extended running times before refueling, increasing worker productivity. Their well-balanced design, low weight, reduced vibration and impressive blade speed are at the top of pros “most wanted features” lists. The STIHL HS 81 T and the HS 86 T are among a new generation of efficient STIHL products that offer long-lasting performance.
“R” Models Make the Rough Cut
When tougher, woodier materials need cutting, pros can count on the STIHL HS 81 R and HS 86 R to do the job. The gearbox torque and blade design of the new “R” models are exceptionally suited for professional rejuvenation applications. Like their “T” model counterparts, the HS 81 R and 86 R feature low vibrations and are superbly well balanced.
STIHLs new HS family of hedge trimmers is equipped with a powerful 22.7 cc two-cycle engine created for hedge trimmers and features a muffler design that directs exhaust emissions away from the operator. STIHL HS 81 models are offered in 24- and 30-inch double-sided blade lengths and are equipped with a rotating rear handle to help make vertical trimming easier. STIHL HS 86 T and R models offer a single-sided 30-inch blade. The HS 86 T is also available in a model with a 40-inch blade length.
