Mitchell is an Applications Specialist for STIHL Southeast,
Inc. Joel is based outside of Atlanta, Ga. and is responsible
for North Georgia and North Alabama.
Joel graduated from North Georgia Tech in 1991 with a Small
Engines/Marine Engines degree and has been working in the
industry ever since. He has been Applications Specialist for
STIHL Southeast, Inc. since January 2001 and brings a wealth
of knowledge and experience to the Southeast market.
Joel was the recipient of the STIHL Southeast Outstanding
Sales Person Award for 2004. He earned and was chosen to receive
the award from over thirty people. Joel also successfully
completed both the Bronze and Silver level national technical
training program offered by STIHL Incorporated.
Joel attended both the 2004 and 2005 National Application
Specialist meeting held at STIHL Inc., in Virginia Beach.
This program gives all the specialists from across the nation
time together to share their experiences, tour the factory
and brush up on the new products coming from STIHL.
Joel is dedicated to teaching the proper operation and use
of STIHL products. He also teaches and demonstrates preventive
maintenance to landscape operations and government agencies.
STIHL Southeast is the exclusive distributor for STIHL equipment
covering Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Puerto Rico, US Virgin
Islands, Bermuda, Bahamas and the Cayman Islands.
