Athletes from around the world compete in STIHL sponsored events such as the STIHL® TIMBERSPORTS® Series and STIHL® TIMBERSPORTS® Collegiate Series, and the Cabela's National Team Championship – all three spanning the nation with their competitions. STIHL events not only reward athletes in competition, but also recognize the everyday hero. STIHL's Forestry Heroism Award honors men and women for their bravery and compassion in the line of duty.

The many faces of Team STIHL embody the individual pursuit of greatness and the emphasis of team and family. International Tree Climbing Champion Mark Chisholm, is a professional arborist who loves to share his expansive knowledge of trees and climbing techniques. Chuck Leavell, keyboardist for legendary bands such as the Rolling Stones and the Allman Brothers, gives his unwavering support to raise awareness for nature conservation. Our newest members of Team STIHL include big-mountain extreme skier Jane Somerville, and top-ten US snowboarder Luke Wynen— all athletes who represent the best of their sport in performance and in character.
